Icom GM600 & GM800 Class A GMDSS Marine Radio Products Launching at METS Marine Industry Trade Show

A new range of commercial maritime GMDSS radios are being showcased for the first time on the Icom stand at the METS marine industry trade show. The two new Class A products are the GM600 VHF GMDSS Transceiver and the GM800 MF/HF GMDSS Transceiver*.

Both GM600 and GM800 meet stringent GMDSS requirements required for SOLAS regulated commercial vessels engaging in international voyages. Both meet the MED, ‘wheel mark’ requirements for European merchant ships.

Both models feature a modern design and layout. A colour TFT LCD provides a user-friendly display and quick recognition of screen information. Day and night modes can be selected according to the lighting conditions.

Further information about both of these models can be downloaded from the pre-release leaflets on this page.

Also on show will be Icom’s latest range of two-way radios including a new ground support airband vehicle radio called the IC-A120E**. Other equipment on display includes VHF marine equipment, ATEX equipment, AIS products, onboard communication solutions, GMDSS survival equipment, avionic and two-way business solutions.

METS, held between 17th-19th November 2015 at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre, is the world's largest trade show for the international marine leisure industry.

Icom's stand at METS is: Hall 1 Booth 116, where the company will be showcasing its latest marine products.
