My Icom DSC/VHF radio will now not transmit on 25w. In addition the screen goes blank at the start of the transmission for a few seconds. It transmits clearly on 1w with no loss of screen data.

Typically this fault is caused by high resistance on the DC leads to the transceiver. This could be caused by old or poorly insulated power leads. Please call our service department for more information.
