IC-M505 with integrated AIS

The IC-M505 VHF/DSC is now available with a fully integrated AIS (Automatic Identification System) receiver.

This new integrated solution allows boat owners to receive AIS information from just a single radio unit that also provides a range of essential features including: VHF, DSC, hailer, foghorn and now an AIS receiver - all in one unit!

Receive position and other vital information of other AIS-equipped vessels.
Help you to understand the movements of larger vessels and to review their current course.
Complete with cable for simple connection to your PC or chart-plotter.
Integrated solutions that displays another vessel’s MMSI number, enabling you to make contact via DSC and speak on a working channel.

Each radio is supplied as standard with a cable to simply connect to your PC or chart-plotter, you are then up and running. You can then display other AIS-equipped vessels over your cartography, this provides you with details of their speed, trajectory and also other information including the MMSI number, name of vessel and destination. This is useful to know when using the DSC to speak on a calling channel.

Packages with GPS and COMMANDMIC are also available.
