Get set for the Islands On The Air (IOTA) Contest this Weekend

The Icom sponsored Islands on the Air (IOTA) contest is due to take place over this coming weekend between 24th and 25th July 2010.

Even though this is a major international contest, IOTA has a very friendly atmosphere which is appreciated by less-experienced contestants.

To encourage UK participation, particularly from newcomers, the RSGB Contest Committee is offering a Participation Certificate. The requirements are not stringent and details can be found on www.rsgbcc.org/hf . You will also find on this site tips on equipment, aerials and operating techniques.
