Russian Police Authorities Trialling Icom dPMR Mode 3 Digital Two Way Radio System

Fylde Micro and supply partner Sicom have now installed a wide-area dPMR mode 3 radio system designed for the Russian Police authorities to trial and type approve before a country wide deployment. The trial area expands across several regions around the Moscow headquarters. The new system comprises Fylde’s Multi-Lingo hardware with Icom’s IC-FR6100 repeaters.

The trial also includes Icom dPMR vehicle mounted and hand-held digital tow way radios as well as the Fylde Syscon-Suite Dispatcher.
